Hundreds of bigahas of forest area has been destroyed in eastern part of the district in Nepal as the authorities here fail to check the encroachment that has occurred in recent days due to the security reasons. At least 500 bighas of forest land has been cleared up in Rampur VDC of ward 3 and 7.
