The Master Plan for making Delhi slum free will remain a distant dream for the city. The seven-member high-level committee formed to frame the Master Plan within 15 days has asked for more time. On June 25, the Union urban development ministry had constructed a committee to prepare a Master Plan, which is supposed to include a roadmap for relocation and alternate policies for rehabilitation.
