The local area under the Srinagar Master Plan has been increased from 236 sq km to 416.25 sq km for a projected population of 23.5 lakh by 2021, an official spokesman said today. The Master Plan approved by the Government is also applicable in the local area under Lakes and Water Ways Development Authority, he said.
