The Bangladesh government as part of its responsiblity will give maximum emphasis on five main strategies for implementation of the national fisheries policy with a view to increasing fish production throughout the country. The government's efforts would be exerted on extensive research, expansion, training, consulting service and supervision in the overall fisheries sector.
