MCD Standing Committee Chairman Vijender Gupta and Leader of the House Subhash Arya held a meeting with MCD officials at Town Hall on Sunday and decided that as soon as the civic body got a certified copy of the Supreme Court's recent ruling, it will begin sanctioning building plans for the third floor. All the pending cases before the Building Department and the zones will be cleared. The MCD will also open camps in all 12 zones so that people who have not deposited conversion charges to get their commercial activities legalised in mixed land use areas can do so before March 31, the deadline set by Delhi Master Plan-2021.
