The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is planning to build automated parking lots at Mehrauli, Ramlila Grounds, Parade Grounds and Kamla Nagar. According to the proposals tabled in a meeting of the MCD's Standing Committee, the parking lot at Mehrauli will accommodate 600 to 700 cars and 200 scooters. The lot will be 10 metre under the ground and 11 metre above it.
