The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will soon develop two state-of-the-art landfill sites for solid waste management in the national capital. The waste will also be recycled for alternative energy generation. With the two current sites at Ghazipur and Okhla filled to the brim, the MCD will develop the sites at Jaitpur and Bawana, and officials are in the process of inviting tenders for private management of the project.
