A multi-crore project by the MCD will revamp five roads to make them as good as the ones in developed countries. Work will start soon on Bhishma Pitamah Marg in Defence Colony and Lodhi Colony Road as the Lieutenant Governor has sanctioned funds. Aurobindo Marg and Rani Jhansi Marg in Karol Bagh will be revamped too, and will be the only roads in Delhi to have ramps for disabled. The fifth road hasn't been selected. The MCD will spend approximately Rs 1 crore on each road.
