The Centre has sanctioned a five-year project, with an outlay of Rs. 2.41 crores, for the conservation and commercial cultivation of medicinal flora in Madhya Pradesh.The Director, Task Force for the conservation of medicinal plants, Dr. A.A. Boaz, said cultivation of medicinal flora would be undertaken on 400 hectares every year in the forest regions of Khargone, Bilsapur, Sagar, Kanker and Mandal districts.
