The Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA) unveiled what can be dubbed the country's first of its kind urban infrastructure development project when it announced the details of the Rs 1,500-crore Outer Ring Road project in Hyderabad. Addressing a news conference, G Ashok Kumar, vice-chairman of HUDA, today said work on the 159- km project was expected to begin on August 15 and the entire project would be completed in three years.
