Delhi Metro is spearheading is wings behind the country and could bag the mandate for overseeing upcoming metro projects in south Asian countries. The Sri Lanka government has approached the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for executing metro projects, being planned in Colombo and other cities.
