Metro work will denude Barakhamaba Road of 150 trees

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will begin the process of cutting down trees on Barakhamba Road and Panchkuian Road to make way for the construction of Barakhamba Road-Dwarka corridor. A total of 190 trees, along these roads will be mowed down. "While about 150 trees will have to be removed from Barakhamba Road, about 40 trees will be cut down on Panchkuian Road," said a senior DMRC official.
