Haryana government has decided to create its 20th district comprising the area of Mewat to ensure speedy development of the region falling in Gurgaon. The decision to create a new district of Mewat area was taken on the basis of the recommendations made by a committee constituted to undertake a feasibility study to carve out a separate district for Meat area, CM Om Prakash Chautala said.
