The Forest Department has approved an ambitious afforestation plan for planting over 50 lakh plants through various projects and schemes during the current monsoon season in Jammu province. This was revealed at a meeting of officers of Forest Department and State Forest Corporation held yesterday to review the progress and achievements of this sector. The Forest Minster, Peerzada Ghulam Ahmed Shah presided.
