Pune The Ministry of Earth Sciences has requested the state government to part with 17 gunthas of land in Mahabaleshwar for its cloud-seeding project, for which it had got a green signal early in the year. City-based Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), which will be operating the centre, is hoping that it will get the land soon.
