Some more monuments of Agra may join the United Nations Economic, Social and Cultural Organization's (UNESCO) list of World Heritage Monuments apart from the world-famous Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. This shall make Agra the first city in the world with the largest number of World Heritage Monuments. This indication was given by a team of UNESCO officials who visited Agra recently. According to the officials, UNESCO may include more monuments in the list of World Heritage Monuments according to their historical importance.
