The European Union aided Haryana Community Forestry Project has achieved a significant success with 16,700 hectares of plantation during the last five years. The 10 year Rs 126 crore project, funded by the European Union Commission in India, covers 300 villages in 10 districts of the State, according to the Project Director, S.K. Dhar.
