If the Maharashtra State government has its way, a large tract of no-development zone (NDZ) land adjoining the Sanjay Gandhi National Park in P-North Ward, Malad village, will soon be turned into a residential zone. The land measures 1.2 lakh square metres, which is 30% larger than the size of Oval Maidan (90,00 sq mt).
