The Divisional Forest Officer, Mr. C.K. Shahi, said today that 1.15 lakh saplings would be planted in Kapurthala, Jalandhar and Nawanshahr districts this season. Three species, including value, those having wood value and ornamental ones would be planted this and next months. The plantation would start with the onset of the monsoon.
