Over 45,000 people who had to make way tor China's largest hydroelectric power station this century have been relocated this month. Located on the Yalong River in southwest China's Sichuan Province, the Ertan Hydro-Electric Power Station will have six generating units each with a capacity of 550,000kw. The first generating unit has gone on line earlier this month on a trial base.
