The four cities of Madhya Pradesh viz. Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain and Jabalpur, included in the Central govenment's National Urban Renewal Fund scheme, might lose their claim in the scheme. The Centre has issued the fund of around Rs 5000 crore as a monetary support for the infrastructure development of these cities, but the two provisions including Master Plan as well as 5 per cent stamp duty have become a worry for the State.
