Having emerged out of the 'Bimaru'trap, following the successful implementation of Rajiv Gandhi Missions, the State Government is now thinking to introduce them at district level. The Rajiv Gandhi Missions of Madhya Pradesh have been widely praised as an effective way of signalling priority and mobilising collective action. The Mission of the Government of Madhya Pradesh had centered around areas like Primary Education, Watershed Development, Rural Industries and selected aspects of health care.
