The Madhya Pradesh Government is going to take up road construction on the pattern which would be akin to the Golden Quadrilateral being built up by the Centre in the country. Chief Minister Uma Bharati hinted about the project during a Press conference in Gwalior. The cost of the project would be borne out by the Rural Development Department and Public Works Department (PWD). The resources of the Prime Minister's rural roads scheme would also be utilised for the project.
