The Housing and Urban Development Corporation has given the Outstanding Performance Award to the Madhya Pradesh Rural Road Development Authority for outstanding work in construction of roads in rural areas, disproving claims by the BJP that the state government had failed to properly utilise funds for the purpose. The MPRRDA received the award for building roads of good or excellent quality in rural areas under different schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna.
