MP to send proposal for WB drinking water supply project

Madhya Pradesh would send a proposal to the Centre for the World Bank aided drinking water supply project in urban and rural areas. This was informed during a review meeting of the Department of Public Health Engineering chaired by the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Bhopal. Minister for Public Health Engineering Rampal Singh, Chief Secretary Rakesh Sahani and senior officers were present. It may be mentioned here that the World Bank has selected four states including Madhya Pradesh for assistance of upto Rs. 1000 crore for drinking water schemes.
