The Madhya Pradesh government is unlikely to put tourism on the Concurrent List. Instead, the state government has put tourism on the Priority List as recommended by the Confederation of Indian industry. Union Tourism Minister Jagmohan had asked state governments to put tourism on the Concurrent List for faster development of tourism infrastructure.
