The Madhya Pradesh tribals and villagers will be allowed to collect minor forest produce like honey in the buffer zone of national parks for non-commercial purposes but the process of collection should not involve the use of fire.This was decided at a meeting between Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh and Union environment and forest minister T R Baalu here yesterday on the issues related to use of forest resources and provisions of Forest Conservation Act, 1980.
