There is succour for the housing woes of the city in the first draft of the much-delayed Master Plan for Delhi-2021. Taking into consideration the housing requirements in the years to come, the MPD moots enhanced private sector participation in housing projects and for building sports complexes in the city. It also proposes introducing public-private partnerships as prevailing in other states through policy changes. The draft was presented before the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) members and the advisory board.
