Maruti Udyog Ltd has decided to absorb the increase in cost for making its vehicles Euro-I compliant and said it would be ready with vehicles meeting Euro-I emission norms by June 1. This would mean the company can sell its cars in Delhi and the national capital region(NCR) from June without any hindrance as the Supreme Court has removed the cap on registration of private non-commercial vehicles that meet Euro-I norms in NCR from June 1 till April 2000.
