Technical committees to be set up : Kerala and Tamil Nadu have decided to undertake a technical evaluation of the safety of the century old Mullaperiyar dam. At a ministerial level meeting held in Thiruvanathapuram, the two sides, however, differed on what should be the level of the storage in the dam.
