Mere emphasis on vehicular technology will not reduce the pollution but a "multi-disciplinary approach" on fuel quality, traffic management, inspection and maintenance of vehicles is required to cut vehicular pollution, said Venu Srinivasan president of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers.
