A " Freedom from pollution" project would be launched in the metropolis soon to tackle contamination of air, water and food that has posed health hazards. As part of the project, automobile owners and operators of trucks, taxis and tempos in the city would take a joint pledge to control emissions from their vehicles, the newly-appointed sheriff of Mumbai Kulwant Singh Kohli said.
