By distributing free saplings of tulsi, neem and ashoka to people, many tree lovers at Rachana Sansad celebrated their Green Day in coordination with I Love Mumbai Association. Sheriff Kiran Shantaram, chairman and managing director of Orchid hotel V. Kamat and chairman of Rachana Sansad Sumant Wandrekar along with other environmentalists and tree lovers were present on the occasion. Rachana Sansad Academy of architecture and College of applied Arts and Crafts celebrates Green Day every year. Students of Rachana, exhibited their paintings on the importance of planting more trees.
