Giving a strong indication that the existing policy of relocation of slums was not only under "scrutiny" but also being reviewed, the Union Urban Development Authority Ministry has asked Delhi Development Authority and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to explore the possibility of "in-situ" development of slum clusters in Delhi on the pattern of a similar experiment in Mumbai.
