A 15-year old garden with fullgrown mango and a few flowering trees was razed to the ground at Hill Road, Bandra, Mumbai, allegedly to create an exit route for a proposed residential and commercial tower. While the contractor claimed that he had the permission of the municipal corporation to cut down the trees, residents protested that there was no such permission.
