The National bank for agriculture and rural development (Nabard) which has been funding for development of roads, builidngs and irrigation projects in the district, has for the first time sanctioned funds for development of forests. A plan has been prepared for spending the funds on preservation of forests and provision of facilities necessary for Vana samrakshana samitis (VSS).
