Nagaland Plan outlay at Rs 760 cr

The Annual Plan size of Nagaland for 2006-07 has been pegged at Rs 760 crore, inclusive of one-time special assistance of Rs 50 crore for projects of special priority interest to the State. The Plan size was decided today at a meeting between the Planning Commission Deputy Chairman, Mr Montek Singh Ahluwalia, and the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Mr Neiphi U. Rio. Mr Ahluwalia lauded the efforts of the State in bridging the gap between developed and less developed districts through enhanced flow of funds to the less developed districts for infrastructure development.
