The Himachal Pradesh government has notified the revised development plan for Nahan town, emphasizing the need for land pooling reconstitution and taking up major projects on a public-private partnership basis. The Cabinet, in its last meeting, approved the revised development plan for Nahan, for a target population of 38,000 till the year 2021. The total planning area of the town is 799 hectares, dividing the town into three sectors meant for commercial, residential and industrial use.
