The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, ruled out eviction of the pre 1980 forest encroachments. Addressing a new conference he said the Government was in favour of regularising them. The government had already asked for identifying the pre 1980 encroachments and the forest lands occupied thereafter by conducting a survey.
