A large number of tribal farmers of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra dn Gujarat, in a meeting at village Jalsindhi, discussed the development after the Suprme Court's recent ruling allowing another five metre increase in the Sardar Sarovar Dam, on March 6 to 7. Village Jalsindhi happens to be the first village which will be submerged in the coming monsoon. These tribal farmers have decided that they will protest against the situation through non-violent methods.
