The progressive farmers of Kandi belt of Jammu division especially of Nagrota and surrounding villages have been asked to preserve rain water in different water bodies to use it for their ensuring crops. This advice was given to the farmers by the Agriculture experts during a joint meeting of Agriculture officers and Panchayat members from various villages of Nagrota and surrounding areas. The Panchayats included those of Banyal, Marh, Drabhi , Pawooni and Shibba villages.
