Noted journalist and Rajya Sabha member Kuldip Nayar on Tuesday said that he would take up the Muthanga incident and the alleged police atrocities on tribals with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). At a meet-the-press programme organised by the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club here, Nayar said that an independent inquiry was required in view of controversy surrounding the incident. "I will also try to raise the issue in the Upper House," he added.
