National Cooperative Development Corporation(NCDC) would take up development projects to the tune of Rs 125 crore in Kerala State during the current financial year. This was announced at a meeting of NCDC held to review the functioning of the ongoing projects initiated by the Corporation and to take up new projects. An amount of Rs 19 crore has been earmarked for development projects in Thiruvananthapuram district, Rs 38 crore for setting up food processing units, Rs 20 crore for capital resource mobililsation of cooperative societies and Rs 24 crore for renovation of spinning mills.
