The process to decongest the National Capital Region received a boost with NCRPB (National Capital Region Planning Board) approving the Regional Plan 2021. Announcing the approval, Union Urban Development Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said the plan aims to develop seven districts of Haryana, five of Uttar Pradesh and one of Rajasthan.
