The Assam Govt has taken a serious view regarding the peculiar type of extremist activity, going on inside the reserve forest areas of the state. The matter is more serious in Karbi Anglong district. According to a confidiential report filed by the "subsidiary intelligence bureau', the NDFB through another organization is allotting land to its members in the reserve forest areas. The matter camp up in a recent meeting of the strategy group of Unified Command and the matter has been viewed seriously by the Government.
