Noted environmentalist, Mr. Anil Agarwal, Director of the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), has said that the environment of an efficient transport system was the only way to tackle the pollution menance in Delhi which is assuming serious proportions. "If corrective steps are taken now, the country's Capital will become unliveable as the number of vehicles will double to six million by 2010," Mr Agarwal said, addressing members of the PHS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) on the theme 'Environment Preservation for the Next Generation'.
