The Ministry of Works and Transport's decision regarding enforcement of the Nepali version of Euro-I emission standard known as Nepal-2001 does indeed deserve to be commended. This decision has no doubt come in the wake of anti-pollution drive and subsequent ban on the registration of two stroke-motorbikes and plying of diesel-run Vikram tempos in Kathmandu valley.
