In a major policy decision likely to benefit 12 lakh people living in the slum clusters of Delhi, the Delhi Government announced that the cut-off date for relocation of such clusters had been extended from December 1990 to November 30, 1998. All persons holding ration cards and figuring in the voter's list will be covered by the decision.
