The Centre will sanction 28 forest development agencies in the current financial year for the development of degraded forests in Jammu and Kashmir, minister for forests, Peerzada Ghulam Ahmed Shah, said here on Sunday. A sum of Rs 1 crore will be provided to each development agency, Mr Shah said at a meeting of forest officers of Jammu division.
