According to new forest policy local people would have the first claim, over the forest produce. Encroachments after 25 October 1, 1980 would not be shifted to other places. Special courts at district level would be established for speedy redressal of cases pertaining to forest and wild animals. Madhya Pradesh government has prepared blue print of new forest policy.
